About Us

Founded in 1959, Stilwell Elementary serves over 250 children and families in south Johnson County. In 2025, the Stilwell PTO will celebrate its 21st annual auction, continuing its tradition of supporting our school community.

Funds raised through the auction help enrich student learning, provide resources for staff, and support programs throughout the year. The PTO covers field trip costs, supplies classrooms with technology, and organizes events for families.

We also assist families in need, ensuring every child has a positive school experience. Through our teacher grant program, we provide resources beyond the district budget to support innovative teaching.

We look forward to continuing our work to enhance the educational experience at Stilwell.
